polymer clay bright necklace
Learn how to craft beautiful polymer clay jewelry the easy way! This new, revolutionary product has the designs already in the clay! Simply cut, bake and assemble!
Step 1 |
Ensure your work area is clean, dry and free of dust. Roll out the clay slab to a thickness of 3mm using a roller. Alternate between rolling horizontally and vertically to preserve the design. Use the thickness guides for accuracy. |
Step 2 |
Lightly dust the clay with corn starch to prevent it from sticking. Place the cutter on the slab and press to cut three round pieces. |
Step 3 |
Preheat the oven to 250°F [120°C] and allow the oven to come to temperature. |
Step 4 |
Place the clay pieces carefully on an oven-safe baking sheet lined with parchment paper. |
Step 5 |
Place the baking sheet with the clay pieces into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. |
Step 6 |
Remove the clay slab pieces from the oven and allow them to cool completely before handling. |
Step 7 |
Pour UV Resin directly from the bottle on top of the entire round shapes. |
Step 8 |
Cure under the UV lamp for several minutes until completely cured. Allow to cool for 1-2 minutes. If still slightly tacky, cure again under the UV light. |
Step 9 |
Make a hole on each side edge of the shapes using a drill tool. |
Step 10 |
Cut two pieces of necklace chain, each 7" [17.7 cm] long. |
